Canton Tower – Canton Tower is a multipurpose observation tower in Guangzhou and it is the second tallest structure in China. Canton tower is located by around 10 minutes walk from Canton tower metro station. The tower is famous for its unique architecture and it was opened to public in 2010. Observation decks of the tower are situated at 107 and 108 floors and they are named as Sky Observation deck and cloud Observation deck. You need to buy separate tickets in order to visit both observation decks. If you are visiting Guangzhou during winter then i will strongly recommend to visit the Observation deck in the afternoon because it stays foggy during morning. The Bird’s eye view of Pearl river and Guangzhou city was spectacular from the Observation deck. You can also enjoy several different adventure activity like Bubble Tram and Sky drop at the Tower. The best view of Canton tower is from Pearl river promenade. During night i strongly recommend to take cruise along pearl river so that you can watch the multi color display of Canton tower.

Chimelong Circus – Chimelong circus was my last stop during my 2 days visit to Guangzhou. The circus is situated inside Chimelong park and it is located near Hanxi Changlong metro station. There are direct shuttle bus from Changlong metro station exit to Chimelong park. The resort consists of Chimelong Hotel, Chimelong Safari, Water park, Amusement park, Chimelong circus and number of other attractions. The resort is spread over a huge area and you need to walk for at least 20 minutes in order to reach Chimelong circus from the main entrance. The circus performance starts at 7.30 pm and the total duration of the show is around 1.5 hours. I will strongly recommend to book the tickets in advance if you are visiting the show during weekends because the show is usually sold out during weekends. The gate opened at around 7 pm and there was no assigned seating for the circus. I will recommend to enter the circus as soon as possible so that you can get the best seat for yourself. Please avoid choosing the seats at the front row because the show involves lots of water splashing and you might get wet. Middle section is probably the best section for seating. The show was just non stop action for 1.5 hours and it includes ballet dance, magic tricks, warriors on bikes, horse riding, acrobatic shows, clown performance & animal performance. The performers were from different parts of the world. The show looks visually stunning and it was well choreographed with brilliant music. Entire arena was utilized for the show and they try hard to get the audience involved for the entire duration of the show. Laser shows were used in order to fill the break between different performances. The last performance of the show was the best and the fireworks show at the end was brilliant.
