I visited South Korea for 5 days during April 1st week. The best weather to visit Seoul will be between April to June and September to early November. December to March is very cold (below 5C in Seoul). June,July and august are the rainy season. April 1st week is the cherry blossom season in South Korea . I would strongly recommend to visit South Korea during the cherry blossom season. The cherry blossom festival only lasts for 10 days. So please check the exact expected date of cherry blossom before visiting South Korea

Seoul is a mega city and its huge. There are lots of attraction to visit in the city. The city also has vibrant drinking and eating culture. The best way to travel around Seoul is by metro. Except DMZ and Nami island you can visit all other places in Seoul using effective metro system. Hotels near Gyongbokgung palace are the best places to stay in Seoul because lots of tourist places are located nearby.
Google maps navigation doesn’t work in Seoul. You can use some 3rd party app in order to find the distance between the places but it was very inconvenient for me.
