There are free shuttle buses from Macau airport and Macau ferry point to different casinos around Macau. The best way to visit Macau peninsula will be to take a bus to Wynn casino. After reaching Wynn casino you can visit all the important tourist places by walk in the Macau Peninsula region.
Senado Square– Senado square is 20 minutes walk from Wynn casino. You can reach Senado square via the infamous Grand Lisboa hotel. The large town square is frequent place for public events in Macau. This place is surrounded by shops and restaurants. This is a great place to try authentic Cantonese and Macau snacks.
St Dominics Church -The church is situated very close to Senado square. It is a baroque style church constructed in the 16th century.
Ruins of St Paul’s –Ruins of St Paul’s is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Macau. It is a ruins of the 17th century complex of St Paul’s church and St Paul’s college. They have a special lighting show during the evening time. The best time to visit the place is around evening time. You pass through lots souvenir shops and street foods stalls on your way to ruins of St Paul’s from Senado square.
Fortaleza do Monte – The fort was situated just adjacent to the iconic ruins of St Pauls. It was the historic military centee of Macau and it is also an UNESCO world heritage site. It has a rooftop park with cannon and has an expansive skyline views.
A ma temple – Taxi from Fortaleza do Monte to A ma temple takes about 20 minutes. The temple is Macau’s oldest Chinese temple. The temple has an unique architecture compared to other Chinese temple.
Macau tower – It takes 20 minutes to walk from A ma temple to Macau tower. The observation deck of the Macau tower consists of restaurant, theaters and shopping malls. People interested in doing adventure activity can do bungee jumping or sky walk. Macau tower bungee jumping is the tallest bungee in the entire world. You can see great panoramic views of Macau from the top of Macau tower. I will recommend to visit the place during evening time.
Grad Prix museum– It takes 10 minutes to reach Grand Prix museum from Macau tower. Every year Macau hosts Grand Prix at the famous Guia circuit. People interested in cars and bike must visit the museum. The museum holds lots of vintage cars and bikes. There is also a wine museum adjacent to the Grand Prix museum.
Macau Science Center– The science center is situated very close to the ferry pier. The building has a great architecture and futuristic looks. The science center is perfect for kids under the age of 10. They have around 14 sections to explore but they should try hard to make it interesting for older people.
Macau fisherman wharf- Macau fisherman’s wharf is an integrated waterfront, convention, dining, retail and entertainment complex. Evening till late night is probably the best time to visit the Macau fisherman’s wharf. I visited the place during the day time and there was hardly anyone there.
Wynn Casino– Wynn casino is one of the best casinos in the Macau peninsula region. You can play almost all the games at the casino. The casino also hosts guests for poker but the waiting time is usually too long.
