Macau Airport is situated in Taipa. There is a Ferry pier very close to the Macau airport. The Macau peninsula is connected with Taipa by a very long bridge. There are lots of casinos and hotels around the Cotai strip in Macau.
Venetian Macao– Venetian Macao is one of the famous landmark of Macau. The design of the casino and resort hotel is based on the theme of Venice. The hotel is a great place to take photos. It is the largest casino in the world and the largest single structure hotel in Asia. There are lots of restaurant and shopping centers inside the resort hotel.
Parisian – Parisian is another casino resort hotel which is hardly 5 minute walk from Venetian. The hotel is a brand new hotel recently opened in 2016. In front of the hotel there is a replica of the famous Eiffel tower. It is always great to visit the place during the night in order to see colorful lighting of the tower. There are also lots of shopping centers and restaurants situated inside the hotel.
City of Dreams-City of Dreams is situated in front of Venetian. There is a poker stars lounge inside City of Dreams. All the famous poker tournament of Macau is held at the City of Dreams. The casino is also famous for its show “House of Dancing Water”. Your visit to Macau will be incomplete without a visit to the “House of Dancing Water” show. This is one of the best choreographed show I have ever seen in my entire life. The set and the seating is just gorgeous and they spent more than a billion dollar in order to develop the set.
A ma cultural village– A ma cultural village celebrates the legend of Tin Hau which is the goddess of seafarers. The temple architecture consist of Tin Hau palace and pavilion style front gate. There is a Facade at the bottom of the hill. There are some great hiking trails situated on the way to A ma cultural village from the Facade. It takes around 20 minutest by taxi to reach the Facade of the A ma cultural village from Venetian. A free shuttle bus operates every 30-minutes from the Facade till the A ma cultural village.
Taipa house museum – It takes around 20 minutes walk in order to reach Taipa house museum from Venetian casino. Taipa house consists of 5 green houses. The houses are inspired from Portuguese architecture. Lady of Carmel church is situated very close to the Taipa museum.
Hac Sa beach – I finished my tour of Taipa after a visit to Hac Sa beach. Regular buses leaves Cotai strip for Hac Sa beach. It is the biggest beach in Macau and it has black color sand on its shores.
