Bulog Dos – Our first stop was Bulog dos island. It is a very small island and there are two small limestone hills on the island. You can easily climb the hills in order to see great views of the island from the top. The beach is beautiful with white sand beaches and coral reefs. The place was not that crowded like El Nido beaches. There are two other islands situated very close to the Bulog Dos island. Two seasons resort is situated very close to Bulog Dos island and the two islands are separated by very shallow water. We spent around 1 hour at the island then after a short 20-minutes ride we reached our next destination Banana island.
Banana Island – We had our lunch at Banana island. The buffet lunch was amazing which included grilled fish, chicken adobo, pork, vegetables and sweet dish. The island is bigger than Bulog Dos but it is still a very small island. The island has a long stretch of white sand beach.The beach at the island is perfect for swimming because the depth of the sea increases gradually.
Malcapuya island – Our last stop was Malcapuya island. This is the most beautiful beach in Coron. The beautiful coconut tree was complementing really well to the light blue color water. The place was not that crowded and there was space for everyone for swimming and snorkeling. The beach was a “C” shaped beach and you can see beautiful view from both sides of the beach. You can’t stay at the island overnight because there are no accommodation available. Only small number of local people are staying at the island. You can hire private boat and can stay at the island till evening time. You feel very close to nature because there is no pub or restaurant in the island. Just before sunset we started our trip back home and we reached the pier around 6 pm. I would recommend everyone to hire private boat and spend at least a day at the island. You don’t do Justice to the beauty of the place by spending just 2 hours in the island. No doubt this is the most beautiful beach in Boracay.
