Jeju island South Course tour

Jeju island South Course tour

We started our day at around 8 am. Our 1st stop was visit to mysterious road. The mysterious road is an illusion and it seems the water is flowing uphill. The road looks like as if it is uphill but actually it is downhill that’s why the water flows downward in the mysterious road.

After the visit to the mysterious road we stopped at Mount Halla National park. Jeju island has different weather along different parts of the island because of the presence of Mt Halla. It was cloudy in the south part of the island but the sky was completely clear on the east side of the island. We took the popular trail in order to reach the observation deck. It took around 1 hour to reach the peak. The path was well laid out and it was like passing by a deep forest. Towards the end of the hike it was just climbing stairs. It was a clear sky and the view from the top was fantastic.

After the hike we arrived at the restaurant for lunch. There was options for black pork and seafood. I decided to have seafood for a change after having black pork for lunch and dinner on day 1. Post lunch we visited Jeonbang waterfall. The waterfall was very unique because it was the only waterfall which opens up into a sea. The place was very beautiful. I am very sure this waterfall is not popular around other parts of the world because I have never seen any photos of the waterfall before. No doubt this was right up there among the most beautiful waterfalls. After taking tons of pictures we moved on to our next destination.

We visited Jusangjeolli which was famous for its unique hexagonal volcanic rock formation. You can only see the volcanic rocks from far because it was a sharp cliff and there was no way to reach the place from the observation deck. This was our second last stop before visiting the trick eye museum.

We ended our day tour by visiting the Alive museum. The place was crowded and people were queuing up in order to take pictures at the museum. We spent an hour at the museum. It took 1.5 hours for us to reach Jeju city from the museum. I finished my trip to Jeju after having a nice black pork barbecue dinner at another restaurant. It was a weekend well spent and I hope the place remains as it is. The place was not overcrowded with tourists like other popular place and the people were super friendly.
